Aim and scope
The Journal Acta Informatica Medica (Acta Inform Med) is Official Journal of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Society for Medical Informatics of Bosnia and Herzegovina and European Federation for Medical Informatics. Acta Informatica Medica was founded as official journal of YAMI–Yugoslav Association of Medical Informatics in 1990, but because of wartime in former Yugoslav countries journal started to print out in 1993 (Editors: Izet Masic and Zoran Ridjanovic). Also, Acta Inform Med has membership of EASE and COPE. Acta Informatica Medica is a peer-reviewed international quarterly journal published by Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 71000, Sarajevo, Mis Irbina 11, p. box 415. The journal is published in Mar, Jun, Sep, and Dec. Circulation of each issue is 300 copies. Journal publishing original research papers, professional papers, educational lectures and reviews, covering all issues in Medical and Biomedical informatics and Science communication in health care.
